Erin Wasson x RVCA

A classic beauty hailing from Texas, Erin Wasson embodies the modern female ideal. A respected blue chip model, Wasson has enjoyed a career of dreams. Uniquely versatile and notoriously hard working, she's graced the covers of countless magazines and walked international runways for every major designer. In her whirlwind career Erin has had the opportunity to work with the industry's most renown photographers and has starred in numerous ad campaigns. Since 2002 Erin has been the international face of Maybelline, appearing in print advertisements and television commercials for the iconic American cosmetics brand.

Known throughout the industry for her edgy, low-key style and effortless sense of fashion, the ever-evolving Wasson is working on several exciting new projects. Last season she debuted her new jewelry line on the runway: LowLuv by Erin Wasson. An avid jewelry lover and collector, Wasson transforms luxe mixed metal cable chains into wearable works of art. She serves as advisor and muse for designer Alexander Wang and Forbes recently named Erin one of the Most Entrepreneurial Supermodels alongside the industry's most recognizable names.

Now RVCA and Erin are developing a capsule womenswear collection set to debut Spring 2009. The collection – Erin Wasson x RVCA - will embody Wasson’s iconic style and edge. The joining of Erin’s carefree persona and charm with RVCA’s roots within the world of art and action sports will introduce a fresh new outlook on fashion to the international marketplace. As an international model, stylist, and designer, Erin is inspired by the places she visits and people she meets. From the streets of New York City to the beaches of Southern California, Erin believes that style is more than just clothing, it is an expression of soul. That philosophy, paired with her love for street art and culture, makes Wasson an ideal partner for RVCA. The collaboration between these two like-minded lifestyle forces will make Erin Wasson x RVCA a must-have collection.

DELTA SPIRIT'S - 'Ode to Sunshine' gets four(4) stars in SPIN Magazine.

From SPIN Magazine - -

"****"

Whether it's a happy accident or a painstaking work of art, the rousing debut of this San Diego quintet impresses mightily. Despite passing echoes of Spoon and Violent Femmes, Delta Spirit's rough barroom pop is its own creature, with jangly pianos, rattling drums, and scruffy acoustic guitars making a thrilling ruckus. Sounding just a day away from a sore throat, singer Matt Vasquez possesses the energy of a hustling televangelist, issuing irony-free invitations to a better life. When he shouts, "All you soul-searching people, c'mon!" don't hesitate to join the rally.
